Tools: Blender, Adobe Aftereffects Role: modeling, animation, texturing and lighting Objective: To practise hard surface modeling without using Boolean operations. The model I tried to recreate was Playdate which is a video console developed by Panic. It is operated by buttons, directional pad and a mechanical crank. Challenge: Creating the holes for the directional buttons is quite tricky Solution: It took me a lot of trial and errors to get the holes right wihtout relying on Booeleans
